Women from all over Delhi came together for the Mia by Tanishq 5 Km run at Pinkathon. Over 3,000 corporate working women participated in the Pinkathon event, one of the largest ever turnouts for the 5 Kmrun.
The event was backed up by Mia by Tanishq, it started at Pinkathon and this 5 Km run ended at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. The winners were felicitated by Ms Viday Sagar, Regional Business Manager, North, Tanishq, Mr Manish Gupta, AVP and Business Head and Milind Soman, Founder of the Pinkathon.
Prior to the event, Pinkathon organized the Pink Carnival, a two day interactive event which took place at Select Citywalk, Saket on the 2rd and 3rd of September. The booth set up at the mall focused on educating women about how to take care of their fitness and work towards a healthier lifestyle. The event brought to life an idea called the ‘deskercise’ fitness routine – where working women were shown innovative and beneficial exercises that they can practice at their desk. People gathered at the mall were extremely surprised to see how swiftly and easily these can be performed at ones workplace.
Sharing her thoughts on the association with Pinkathon, Ms. Deepika Tewari, General Manager – Marketing, Titan Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited said, “Women today need to start looking into their own well-being and health. By nature, they care more about every member in the household and put themselves last, and hence we are here to reaffirm their minds towards a wholesome lifestyle for themselves.”
