Global online food delivery marketplace, foodpanda, today announces another series of acquisitions in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia and Hungary.

Just weeks after consolidating the market in India and Mexico, through the acquisitions of TastyKhana and PedidosYa, foodpanda also targets market leadership in Central Eastern Europe. The region plays an important role in foodpanda’s global strategy.

In Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina, foodpanda takes over Donesi.com. foodpanda will merge operations under the Donesi brand and customers will have access to an increased number of over 550 restaurants.

Moreover, foodpanda has acquired the online food delivery company Pauza.hr in Croatia offering food delivery and take away from hundreds of restaurants. Pauza was founded in 2008 and will continue to operate under its own brand.

Through the acquisition of NetPincer.hu, foodpanda also ensures market leadership in Hungary. NetPincer has been in the market since 1999, partnering with over 550 restaurants in all major cities in Hungary.
