India’s leading restaurant Franchise Management company Yellow Tie Hospitality launches UK’s most popular Indian burrito brand ‘Wrapchic’ in India.

The first outlet was opened at VR Mall, West Anna Nagar, Chennai and now they have ventured into Hyderabad by opening it’s 2nd outlet in India at Sarath City Capital Mall.

“When I started this brand I wanted to introduce Indian food to the world and fusion in a Burrito sounded like a good plan,” shared Mahesh Raikar, Founder,Wrapchic who is also planning to expand to 10 other countries by 2020.

Yellow Tie Hospitality has acquired the master franchise rights for India and plans to launch 25 stores at PAN India level across malls and corporate parks.

“We are extremely excited about Wrapchic and we feel that Wrapchic can be the first Indian food oriented brand across the world. Wrapchic is not typically Indian but it is fashionably a “cool” Indian brand and it has done fantastic amongst the local population of UK, Dubai and we can’t wait to grow it in India,” added Karan Tanna, Founder & CEO, Yellow Tie Hospitality that is planning to invest 5 million USD in the next 3 year with 25 stores at PAN India level across malls and corporate parks. “We are very optimistic to grow Wrapchic not only in India but across Asia,” he added further.

This sector is already the largest retail consumption category in India, accounting for approximately 31% of the country's consumption basket, The Indian food and grocery market is the world’s sixth largest, with retail contributing 70 per cent of the sales. YTH aims to cater to the same with Wrapchic.

Wrapchic is a Quick Service Restaurant that started its first location in Birmingham City Centre in June 2012. It is a format serving fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisine like Burritos, Wraps, Nachos, Rice Bowls, Quesadilla, Tacos, Wraposas, Desserts & Beverages. The food industry in India has been booming in the recent times, owing to the rising disposable income of the middle class, rising young population, working women and hectic schedules. Growth in Food and Beverage industry in India will cater great business expansion for our brand.
