Dunkin’ Donuts, one of the world's largest donut and coffee chain that entered India with a master franchisee agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks in 2012 is planning an aggressive expansion across major cities in India, according to a Market Watch report.
The group earlier announced opening of over 500 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants during its entry into the Indian continent. Since signing its master franchise agreement with Jubilant FoodWorks in 2012, 36 Dunkin' Donuts restaurants have been opened in 12 cities across India, including its newest location which opened recently in the South Indian city of Bangalore.
The brand is currently present in three metro cities of India - Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
"We are pleased with the development progress we've made across India over the past few years with our master franchisee Jubilant FoodWorks," John Varughese, Vice President, Dunkin' Brands India, Middle East and Southeast Asia told to Market watch.
He further added, "Since opening our first restaurants in New Delhi in 2012, we've expanded our presence to a number of other cities across India, including Mumbai and Gurgaon. With the opening of our new restaurant in Bangalore, Dunkin' Donuts is on its way to having a national presence in India."
Dunkin' Donuts menu comprises of wide range of high-quality beverages, sandwiches and baked goods including Dunkin' Donuts' signature offering Original Blend coffee.
