Concluded with eco- friendly Dussehra celebrations
The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, an enterprise of Bharat Hotels Ltd, popularly acclaimed as one of the largest and fastest growing hospitality chains in India observed The Lalit Chalo Chitrakoot Festival, which started on October 3, 2013, concluded with eco- friendly Dussehra celebrations at the banks of river Mandakini in Chitrakoot.
To develop and promote the region of Khajuraho and Chitrakoot, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group has also been organizing - ‘The Lalit Arts Festival’ since 2008 celebrating Shiv Parvati Vivaha on Maha Shivraatri; ‘The Lalit Tipaiya-thon’ – an annual event to recognise the efforts of Rickshawallas and to promote eco-friendly means of transport; and planting of 1 lakh saplings at the Beni Sagar Dam to expand the region’s green belt. The Group is known for its innumerable initiatives and efforts to organize a series of events celebrating the local spirit of various destinations to promote tourism.
