The award winning brand of chutneys, jams and pickles in the UK is entering Indian market within next two months. A pack of 230 gm chutneys and Jams will cost around 400 for Indian customer.
The Cherry Tree, one of the largest manufacturers of chutneys, jams and pickles is entering Indian market within next 2-3 months.
The group has signed a joint venture with ‘The K Group’ to target Indian customers.
The group manufactures, a wide variety of jams including, strawberry jam, black currant jam, apricot and marmalade, which are very traditional English product manufactured from oranges. As far as, chutneys are concerned, their recipes are decided by famous Indian chefs from hotels in London.
Cherry Tree claims that their best selling chutney is spicy tomato and caramelised onion.
“We are the manufacturer of the product in UK, K Group will be importing the product to India and they will be managing the local franchisees and relationship directly” said, Jeremy Moore, Director, The Cherry Tree.
The Cherry Tree chutneys and jams will be available through retail outlets in all the super markets and malls. A pack of 230 gm chutneys and Jams will cost around 400 for Indian customer.
