Tata Starbucks opens its outlet in Hyderabad, looks to expand in South India

For the company, the opening of the flagship store in Hyderabad is consistent with the long-term growth strategy to strengthen the starbucks presence in South India.

Tata Starbucks Limited, a 50/50 joint venture between Starbucks Coffee Company and Tata Global Beverages Limited, today strengthened its presence in Southern India with the opening of the flagship Starbucks store in Hyderabad.

This flagship store is the 58th Starbucks store across six cities in less than two years of the brand launch in India. In addition to this flagship store, Starbucks will soon open another store in Hyderabad at Forum Mall.

The opening of the flagship store in Hyderabad is consistent with the long-term growth strategy to strengthen the company’s presence in South India and bringing the Starbucks' experience to more neighbourhoods across the country. Designed to reflect Starbucks coffee heritage, this flagship store in Hyderabad will serve as a gathering place for customers to enjoy a personalised, handcrafted cup of coffee with friends and family.

Delivering on its promise of extending an elevated coffeehouse experience, the store will offer an extensive range of offerings along with Starbucks' signature espresso-based beverages, Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew and an extensive food menu comprising of Indian and International favorites. The store will also offer a wide range of Starbucks merchandise and free Wi-Fi so that customers can enjoy the renowned community gathering place that Starbucks is known for.

Starbucks recently launched the much awaited and globally-loved program – My Starbucks Rewards in India. This special program provides Starbucks lovers with redeemable rewards that allow them to avail their favorite Starbucks offerings through a tiered program, which add up to enhance their overall Starbucks Experience. Customers in Hyderabad can now take home the interestingly designed Starbucks cards and bag rewards as they indulge in their favorite handcrafted beverages, food or merchandise.

Starbucks entered the Indian market in October 2012 and currently operates 58 stores in India across Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad through a network of more than 1000 passionate partners.
