‘Sustainable & Responsible Tourism’

The 48th Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) Convention to be held in Kochi, Kerala from September 18-21, 2013, will have ‘Sustainable & Responsible Tourism’ as the theme.

The Convention will be inaugurated by Dr. K Chiranjeevi, Minister of State with Independent Charge for Tourism, Government of India, at the Le Meridien Resort & Convention Centre.

Mr. Vijay Pande, Honarary Secretary, FHRAI, said “about 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the Convention. As part of showing continued support to the victims of the Uttarakhand natural disaster, the Federation will levy an Rs 500 as delegate fee, which would be donated to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. This will be in addition to the Rs 52 lakh that FHRAI has already contributed to the Relief Fund.”
