Starwood Hotels & Resorts is planning to open 65 properties in India by 2015.

The brand is presently operating 39 hotels in India under the names like Luxury Collection, Westin, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Four Points by Sheraton and Aloft and is planning to add 65 hotels to become a 100 hotel property by 2015.

Speaking on the expansion plan, Dilip Puri, MD, India and Regional Vice President South Asia, Starwood Hotels & Resorts said, "We will have a minimum of 15 new openings between now and end-2015. Our goal is to have 100 hotels either operating in pipeline or management contracts signed by the end of 2015.”
