Shiraz offering Haleem for Ramadan

Shiraz, the Awadhi restaurant located at Mullickbazar, Kolkata is offering the traditional Haleem during Ramadan.

Ishiaque Ahmed, Partner, Shiraz Golden Restaurant, said, “Haleem originated from the fusion of Arabian and Persian cuisines in India. We have retained the Arabian version of using aromatic spices in our Haleem, this renders an edge over other preparations.”

The restaurant which is operational in Kolkata for over five decades is planning to expand its footprints in India and abroad.

Priced at Rs 150 plus taxes, the Haleem festival started on 4th July and will end on 31st July.
