Shervani Elected President, FHRAI

Mr. SM Shervani has been elected as the President of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) for the next year. Prior to this, he was the Treasurer of the Association. The election took place at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association in New Delhi.

The AGM also witnessed the election of a new Executive Committee. Mr. Vivek Nair, Chairman and Managing Director, Hotel Leelaventure Ltd., will be the new Secretary. Mr. Dinesh Advani, Joint Managing Director, The Shalimar Hotel Mumbai and Mr. Deepak Puri, Partner, Trinca’s Restaurant, Kolkata, have been elected as Vice Presidents of the new Committee. Mr. Garish Oberoi, Partner, Hotel Uberai Anand, Bareilly, has taken over as the new Treasurer, while Mr. Nitin Kothari, Proprietor, Peter Cat Restaurant, Kolkata, is the new Joint Secretary.
