Sbarro to open its second outlet in North India

Sbarro, the chain of pizza restaurants that specialises in New York style pizza and other Italian-American cuisine is opening its second outlet in North India.

The restaurant will start its operation on 26th November and will be located in Connaught Place, New Delhi.
“Pricing is done keeping in mind the growing middle class and the younger generation in the age bracket of 18-30 years. We are starting at Rs 49 for a slice of pizza and a meal for an individual will cost Rs 125- 150," Akhil Puri, CEO, Sbarro said.

The Ohio based restaurant chain is also looking at about 40-50 outlets in next five years.

The pizza chain will first expand across Delhi NCR and gradually move towards other cities including, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jalandhar and Kolkata.
