SSP Group launches Caffe Ritazza in Mumbai, Aims To Open 75 Outlets in Next Five Years

SSP Group launched Caffe Ritazza in Bandra, Mumbai. Sukh Tiwana, Group Commercial Director of SSP Group, said, “Our partners WIB and the local franchisee have set a very high brand standard. Our next store is already in construction in Pune with the third opening in Hyderabad.”

SSP Group has plans to invest Rs 250 crore in the next five years for its expansion of the food and beverage brands and aims at opening 75 outlets of Caffe Ritazza in the next five years.

SSP operates an extensive portfolio of more than 400 international, national, and local brands. Three of its most popular brands are coffee shop Caffe Ritazza, Upper Crust bakery and Millie’s Cookies. It operates in over 30 countries worldwide. In the UK, there are now 18 franchised Millie’s stores and two Upper Crusts while in Romania there are two Ritazzas. The company has, recently, signed agreements in Qatar and Saudi Arabia for Millie’s. 

Franchise India-owned subsidiary, World Iconic Brand (WIB) hospitality has taken master franchise rights for three brands in India. The company will be responsible for franchising the brands in India via area developers who will operate the stores themselves as well as sub-franchising. With an expertise in the field of franchising, WIB will be providing SSP Global with extensive knowledge, brand and operational expertise for the Indian market. Being the leading franchising authority in the country, it will offer the brand access to investors, online and hardcopy marketing channels along with various franchise exhibitions.
