Rajbari Rasoi plans to launch outlets in Mumbai and Pune by Dec 2019

Rajbari Rasoi, Bengali fine dining restaurant, is looking to expand in other areas of Mumbai and Pune. The company eyes launching two outlets in Mumbai and two in Pune by December 2019.

Priyadarshini Dey, Founder and Owner, Rajbari Rasoi, said, "The idea behind launching Rajbari Rasoi was Bengali culture and Kolkata is full of heritage historical buildings, each one recreating a glorious golden Bengal of its era, rich literature, classic Rabindra Sangeet and one of India's richest food cultures."

"The concept of Rajbari Rasoi came to me when I really felt the need of reaching Bengali culture, music and its most delicate cuisine to the other parts of India. Our aim is to get people a taste and feel of true authentic heritage old Kolkata and its culture and food," she added.

Dey further stated, "Rajbari Rasoi, as it is called, means a Raja's house along with its kitchen. So with outlook, feel, ambience, servers dressed in traditional Bengali outfits, serving in plates, glasses and everything of kansa utensils, old Rabindra Sangeet and Bengali folk songs playing in the background, and the most authentic secret Bengali recipes, we have tried to give a very unique feel to this place, which will transfer oneself back in the heritage golden cultural Kolkata."
