Parle Products which is known for manufacturing Biscuits and confectionery is planning to focus on its existing range of products to consolidate its market share for next two years, reported PTI.
The group will not focus on manufacturing new items in its portfolio rather it will focus on its existing product.
"For the next two years we do not plan to launch new products. Our focus in the next fiscal will be to consolidate," said Mayank Shah, Deputy Marketing Manager, Parle Products.
According to Shah Parle has launched fair amount of product in the last two years.
The brand has products like Parle G, Hide & Seek, KrackJack, Monaco and Milano in its portfolio.
Parle which has recently tested market for cakes and rusk on a pilot basis will be launching these products on large scale next fiscal.
"Cakes and rusk categories is seeing a lot of action and a lot of players have entered into the space. Apart from taking cakes and rusk pan India, we are looking at becoming significant number two player," Shah added.
