Oriental Cuisine to open more outlets of French Loaf

Chennai based Oriental Cuisine is planning to open more outlets of its brands French Loaf and Wangs Kitchen,

“Like last year we are planning to expand both The French Loaf and Wangs Kitchen. The only strategic change we have taken very recently is the franchise route. We are now opening our other brands for franchising too,” said Narendra Malhotra, CEO, Oriental Cuisines.

The company is one of the largest company-owned bakery chains in India with 55 plus outlets and is still growing.

The brand own chains like China Town, French Loaf, Wangs Kitchen, Zara Tapas Bar amongst other.

The brand recently started capitalizing the online space taking their business to the next level through e-commerce.

Oriental Cuisines Private Limited (OCPL) was originally founded by foodie, professor, restaurateur and entrepreneur M Mahadevan in May 1994 under the name of Chaitanya Gourmet Splendour Private Limited. It was later renamed Oriental Cuisines Private Limited in March 1997.
