Cadbury India, which is now called as Mondelez India has recorded a healthy growth in March quarter seeking a good share in the chocolate and powdered beverages segment.
Speaking on the same, Irene Rosenfeld, CEO, Mondelez International, said, "Our share performance in India in particular was strong, up over 2.5 (percentage point) in a category that continues to grow about 20 percent. Our results reflect recent capacity investments to support the tremendous growth from that market. With new chocolate capacity in place in India, the company has been able to regain the share it lost in the first half last year.”
