Michael Swamy launches India's first cafe inspired book

Café Delhi Heights in association with Om Books International launched India’s first café-inspired cookbook ‘Comfort Food’ by Michael Swamy and Mughdha Savkar.

The book was unveiled by India's heartthrob on and off-field, cricketing icon Virat Kohli at cafe Delhi Heights, sangam courtyard.

"Doing a book that creates memories and leaves legacies is what my work is about," shared Swamy to Restaurant India.

Inspired by a chain of extremely popular restaurants dotted across Delhi, Cafe Delhi Heights, the book has a great mix of food trends, their own offerings and all foods that spell ‘comfort’.

"By adding new flavours by way of herbs or microgreens or sometimes a twist in the spive palate. Its all about creating memories with food, that's whats puts it into the comfort food bracket," added Swamy who himself is researching and creating a lot to revive regional and comfort foods.

Published by Om Books International, this book is a tribute by Vikrant and Sharad Batra to their mother Usha Batra for all the hard work they've grown up watching their mother put in, to give them a future.
