Malgudi Opens in Dupont

The owners of Heritage India have replaced Cafe Luna with their southern Indian restaurant, Malgudi at Dupont. This is the second location for Malgudi, which is also in Glover Park. Both Malgudi locations adjoin Heritage India locations.

Mr. Mitul Tuli, Co-owner, Malgudi south Indian restaurant, in an email said, “We essentially changed for a newer concept... keeping in line with the increasing demand/ requests for more and vegetarian/vegan food. It’s a concept that fitted the neighborhood too. Also Malgudi is essentially southern Indian food... where more than half the population is vegetarian.”
