SnackUp range comprises fourteen snacks from South India.
A range of fourteen authentic South Indian snacks was launched by MTR Foods Pvt Ltd in Bangalore and Mysore. It comprises avalakki mixture; corn flake mixture; ompudi; onion nibbles; seedai; benne murukku; chow chow mixture; butter chakli; spicy avalakki mixture; spicy corn flake mixture; spicy thick sev; khara boondi, spicy ompudi, and spicy chow chow mixture.
Mr. Vikram Sabherwal, VP, Marketing, MTR Foods Pvt Ltd, said, “We believe in giving the best quality product to our consumers. In fact, the confidence in our new MTR SnackUp range is so strong that we are guaranteeing the quality of MTR SnackUp with the Taste Challenge.”
The snacks are priced at Rs 10 for a 40g pack; Rs 25 for a 90g pack and Rs 45 for a 180g pack and the butter chakli are priced at Rs 25 for a 100g pack. In order to sustain the consumers' interest, the company launched a scheme called Taste Challenge, which is applicable to the purchase of all SnackUp products between September 1 and November 10, 2013.
