MADPIGGY Solutions ties-up with Vaango, The Beer Cafe

Gurgaon based start up MADPIGGY Solutions announces the debut of its eponymous shopping app on the App Store.

This innovative app is now available free for download on both the Google Playstore and App store.

Madpiggy is also the first Indian app to integrate Apple’s proprietory promoted iBeacon technology into the app. Embraced by international malls such as Macy's and retailer JCPenney (USA), this technology will help MADPIGGY enhance users shopping experience in India.

Founded by IITian and ISBin Abhishek Kumar, MADPIGGY launched the android version of the app in January this year.

The response has been overwhelming with over 2000 downloads in less than two months.

Abhishek Kumar, Founder and Director, MADPIGGY, said, “While most developers look up to the online model, we found a huge gap in promotional methods of the regular brick- and- mortar stores. So, we decided to focus on the offline format instead.”

Madpiggy is every avid shopper’s dream come true. It provides customers a catalogue of ongoing discounts and promotions at nearby stores, restaurants, spas and other outlets within the nearby malls.

The repertoire of brands that are on board range from popular time wear brand Titan, apparel brand Levi’s to PVR Cinemas. It has also tied up with F&B brands such as Vaango and The Beer Cafe- India's largest alco-bev chain.

With over 700 active offers and tie ups with more than 30 malls across Delhi NCR, the company is also looking to expand to Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore in the next quarter.

The app works on the simple equation- user saves Money by viewing the advertisements on sales listed by retailers and also score points for their Piggybank through their loyalty program that is based on check-ins at stores.

A listing on MADPIGGY is absolutely free for merchants currently, saving them big marketing bucks.

Merchants will have their own dashboards enabling them to regularly update offers and reach out to their patrons directly.

For shoppers it gives them access to the best deals from their favourite brands the moment they go live. The loyalty program rewards users with points for referrals, checking in at stores using special QR codes and sharing the offers on their social media platforms. It’s a win- win for both.

The company plans to introduce some more exclusive features for the merchants and will assist them in creating cost- effective campaigns to garner more footfalls.
