King's Park Street opens socio-cultural destination

King’s Park Street, located under the busy Raja Garden Flyover, West Delhi, popularly known as the first development model under a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with Delhi Transport & Tourism Development Corporation (DTTDC) and private entrepreneur to convert under-utilised commercial spaces under the busy flyovers and traffic islands to happening places for culture, entertainment, etc.

So far, King’s Park Street has converted 3.5 acres under-utilised land under the busy Raja Garden Flyover in West Delhi into a hub for socio-cultural destination.  Now the Street houses art and handicraft bazaars, adventure zone, food courts, amphitheatre for cultural shows and more. 

Commenting on the future plans, Amit Sukhija, Project Director, King’s Park Street, said, “The intention is to develop the place into a ‘hub for art and culture’. The whole area is divided into different zones with food courts, an amphitheatre, shopping areas for handicrafts, adventure sports, etc.”
