International Pepper Conclave at Dubai

The first edition of Pepper conclave was held on 24th and 25th of June 2013 at Hotel JW Marriott Marquis in Dubai, UAE on the role of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC’s) role in strengthening the emirate as the global gateway for commodities trade and to acclimatise the importers from the West Asia and North African Countries with the new suppliers along with the traditional ones on a one-to-one basis. This will facilitate clear the way for voluminous trade directly between the Exporters from different producing countries and the Importers from different consuming countries.

This endeavor is also to promote Pepper consumption in the non-traditional markets like the U.A.E, Russia, China, Philippines, Pakistan, Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, Iran, Qatar, Iraq, Sudan, Kuwait etc. The importers will have direct access to interact with the exporters from the Producing countries viz. India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Brazil and other small producers.
