Delhi Gourmet Club (DGC), a community of food aficionados in Delhi-NCR is planning to organise an award ceremony to recognise top chefs of the region on 27th July at Pulman Gurgaon Central Park.
The culinary club has released a list of 48 nominees in 14 categories selected by juries headed by Manjit Singh Gill, President, Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA) for online voting by members of the Club today.
Commenting on the same, Sourish Bhattacharyya, Member, DGC, said, “The endeavour is to bring the junior chefs to the forefront and recognise them. Restaurants always get the awards and recognitions, but chefs who work at those restaurants are not recognised.”
The jury comprises of Chef Gill, Chef Bill Marchetti, Marryam H Reshii, Chef Manish Mehrotra, Chef Girish Krishnan, Chef Neeraj Tyagi, Chef Mickey Bhoite, Varun Tuli, and Magandeep Singh.
