Goli Vada Pav plans expansion

Goli Vada Pav, one of India’s fast food chains is planning to raise its third round of funding of Rs 50- 55 crore after raising two rounds of funding in 2008 and 2011 amounting to Rs 26 crore.

Goli Vada Pav is present in 14 States and 55 cities with 275 stores. Speaking on its expansion plan, Venkatesh Iyer, Founder, Goli Vada Pav, said, “We are in talks with several investment bankers and PE firms to mobilise around Rs 50- 55 crore to fund our next phase of expansion as our company is valued at around Rs 200 crore today.”

The company is also planning g to enter into segments such as breakfast and meals and is putting together a range of offerings to be introduced in their stores beginning August. The company is planning to open 5,000 outlets stores by 2020.
