Gits Food’s new member on board

Gits Food Products, known for its gulab jamun mixes has introduced new members on their board by transferring a substantial part of their shareholding in a phased manner.

These new board members are the third generation entrepreneurs come from the founder family. Sahil Gilani , Aasiya Tejani and Samana Tejani now occupy prominent positions on the board of the company which was established by co-founders H Z Gilani and A K Tejani in 1963. The move is taken to empower this young blood to play an active role in the running of the business.

Sahil Gilani, Director Sales & Marketing, said, "The joint MDs have proposed to pass on their shareholdings to their children in the future. However, it is not decided how exactly their respective 25 percent shareholdings will be divided.”
