North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Kalagram, Chandigarh is celebrating food and art festival in an effort to revive Punjab's dying folk arts like naqal, gatka and sammi.
Yashwinder Sharma, Programme Officer, NZCC, Kalagram, said, "Various art forms in Punjab are losing ground. Therefore, we decided to organise a festival wherein we have invited folk singers, dancers and theatre artistes who are working hard to keep the art alive.”
The festival will start on 28th of June where food stalls will offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian Punjabi food.
