Dr Yadav as Director, WUWM, to Attract Investment in India

Dr JS Yadav, COO, Premium Farm Fresh Produce Ltd, The Lalit Hospitality Group and Director-Haryana Institute of Rural Development, Nilokheri (Haryana), was appointed as Director, WUWM for 3 years term. He is the first Indian to be appointed at this position in the recently concluded three days Board of Directors’ meeting of WUWM from 22-25^th May, 2013, concluded in Helsinki, Finland.

He has not only worked as the director of National Institute of Agriculture Marketing, NIAM, Jaipur, but also has been immensely contributing as an expert and advisor to various organisations and Government of India Committees in the field of Agricultural Marketing. He is the pioneer of Modern Terminal Markets with his area of specialization being Conceptualization, Designing, Planning and Development of Markets.

Dr Yadav’s equally engaging role in the transformation of primitive, traditional agricultural marketing systems into a modern, transparent and efficient platform got him elected to this international Marketing Forum. His position at the international level will definitely strengthen India’s position as an effective contributor towards formulating global marketing practices and standards. It will also help in projecting the efficiency of Indian Agriculture markets – both in terms of handling large volumes of produce as well as generating revenues at a global platform – and enhancing the possibilities of attracting investment in India.
