Chef Saulo Bacchilega, Executive chef, Da Luigi, The Park Hyatt, Goa Resort and Spa, won the 100 per cent Italian award at 100 per cent Italian contest organised by Ind-Italian chamber of Commerce and Industry(IICCI), in association with Unioncamere (the confederation of Italian Chambers of Commerce), held at Mumbai’s Four Season Hotel recently.
Six Italian restaurants were conferred with the Ospitalita Italiana Seal of Quality, which recognises the authenticity of the cuisine, the ingredients used and the maintenance of high standards of Italian hospitality.
The certified restaurants were: from Kolkata Valentino at Hotel Hindustan International, from New Delhi Le Cirque at The Leela Palace and Tonino Ristorante Italino, from Mumbai Stella at The Leela, from Goa Da Luigi at the Park Hyatt Goa, Resort & Spa and from Bangaluru Bene at Sheraton Bangalore.
