Green Dot Health Foods organised the recipe contest at Gurgaon.
Cornitos, flagship brand of Green Dot Health Foods Ltd's hosted a recipe contest called Cornitos Nachos Chef at Gurgaon's Electrolux Innovation Centre. The participants included food bloggers and social media enthusiasts based in and around Delhi and the National Capital Territory (NCR).
Mr. Sabyasachi Gorai, Executive Chef, Olive Bar and Kitchen; Mr. Swarup Solgaonkar, Corporate Chef, McDonald’s, and Mr. Rajesh Variyath, Corporate Executive Chef, Radisson Hotel were some of the jury member.
The participants were asked to cook using Cornitos products in a kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances with 45 minutes.
Ms. Ruchira Hoon was adjudged the winner of the contest, and bagged the prize from Mr. Vikram Agarwal, founder and director, Green Dot Health Foods Pvt Ltd, and the chefs. All the participants received complimentary hampers.
Mr. Agarwal said, “We are very excited to host this one-of-its-kind contest which gave participants a chance to extravagantly indulge in their hobby. We saw some great dishes today, which also showcased the versatility of Cornitos products.”
Ms. Neeru Agarwal, the winner of the contest in the social media category, had previously won a contest held on both Facebook and Twitter, where the nacho brand's fans and followers were invited held to share their own nacho recipe. Her win entitled her to participate in the on-ground contest, alongside food bloggers.
