Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages has been allotted 250 acres of land, where they will produce aerated soft drinks. Our objective is to develop Karnataka as a whole and therefore, we will be focusing on all districts.
Coca Cola, the beverages major is planning to invest over Rs 1,000 crore in its Karanataka project, according to a Reuters report.
The company is also planning to employ over 500 people for its upcoming project.
Coca Cola is planning to start a project in Kadechur and Badiyala villages of Yadgir District in the state.
The officials from Hindustan Coca Cola beverages met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and informed him of the details about their proposal at Yadgir industrial area, said an official.
The Chief Minister has assured support to the company and has also advised them to provide employment to the locals of the area and the family members of those whose land would be acquired for the project.
