CCD partners with FourthLion to understand consumer behaviour

Tech startup FourthLion Technologies has rolled out a product called WalkIn for the cafe chain to get a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour.

Cafe Coffee Day has partnered with FourthLion to get a more clear understanding of consumer behaviour. The cafe chain is deploying a customised version in about 250 outlets in Karnataka.

Tech startup FourthLion Technologies has rolled out a product called WalkIn for the cafe chain to get a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour.

"We will use analytics to study behaviour patterns so that we can personalise our offers," said Bidisha Nagaraj, group president (marketing) at Coffee Day. "We will be extending it in few more states soon."

The former head of the Aadhaar project also invested in CCD ahead of its public share listing in November.

“We spend more time these days on applying technology to make traditional retail more nimble,” shared Nilekani, Pugalia.

On working with Coffee Day, he said: "Siddhartha is a rare non-tech entrepreneur who believes in the transformational potential of technology.
