Burma Burma enters Mumbai

Burma Burma, a Burmese restaurant is soon to open at Fort Mumbai, stated a media report.  The restaurant is owned by Ankit Gupta, former Bar Manager at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

The restaurant will be casual dining outlet having seating capacity of approximately 60 people. Burma Burma will be functional from 2nd May 2014. The restaurant will have khow suey and bao stations, as well as a tea room serving dishes such as; laphet thoke (tea leaf salad); mohinga (a breakfast dish of broth with noodles and banana stems); ohnthamein (coconut milk rice with raisins and peanut tomato chutney); and fow tow (chickpea fritters stuffed with raw papaya).
