Accor launches 'Optimum Service Standards' for Indian guests

Accor, the French hotel chain has opened its second Formule 1 hotel in Pune.

The hotel has a 117-room property located at Pimpri. And with this opening Formule1 has now six hotels across India with presence in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Hinjewadi and Pimpri, Pune and Greater Noida.

The French hotel chain is also planning to open three hotels each in in Hyderabad Banjara Hills, Hi-tech city, Chennai OMR and Nashik by end of 2015.

The group has recently launched a fully accredited ‘Optimum Service Standards’ programme to cater to the unprecedented influx of Indian tourists and business travellers.

According to the source, this programme offers a variety of simple and meaningful touches that matter most to the Indian guest.

This programme is in participation with group’s hotel brands such as Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure and Ibis in Australian and New Zealand cities such as Sydney, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne and Queenstown.

However, in Paris, properties with dedicated offers to Indian guests include Pullman Paris Montparnasse, Pullman Paris la Defense, Pullman Paris Centre – Bercy, Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel and Novotel Paris Est, added the source.
