EuroKids International, India's Leading Pre-School chain has achieved a major milestone with the opening of its 1000th Pre-School in Thane. With a presence in three countries and over 350 towns and cities, the Pre-School chain plans to triple the number in the next five years.
EuroKids International Co-founder and Group CEO Prajodh Rajan said, "We are experiencing stupendous growth and the 1000th pre-school represents a major milestone that commemorates our expertise of over 17 years in early childhood education. The 1000th pre-school is testament to the efforts that our content & academic teams have put in and the years dedicated towards understanding young children & their learning needs. With its growing popularity and the rise in demand for pre-school education in India, last year EuroKids added more than 250 Pre-Schools.
Shedding light on the company's future growth plans, Prajodh Rajan said, "Currently close to 60% of our preschools are in non-metro cities and we believe that there is great untapped potential in the tier-II and III cities. Therefore, we will largely focus our energies on these territories."
EuroKids has empowered over 1000 entrepreneurs till date, of which over 80 per cent are women. The EuroKids franchisemodel offers a unique training methodology coupled with NextGen advantages and 360 degree support to help entrepreneurs in building franchise business. In addition to training and support, financial assistance in association with leading institutions is provided to set up a franchise, especially in tier 2 & 3 cities.
EuroKids is evolving the education landscape by paying close attention to enhancing teaching methodology. To ensure that the professional needs of teachers are addressed periodically for effective delivery of curriculum, EuroKids has developed ETAT (EuroKids Teacher Assessment Tool), an online teacher assessment tool, that ensures that the teachers comply with uniform standards and their skill sets are continuously upgraded.
Moreover, its curriculum is developed basis years of experience and research findings by 'Center on the Developing Child' at Harvard University. All EuroKids pre-schools follow 5-point safety program which includes provision of CCTV cameras and GPS, child safe furniture and interiors, safe school certification, qualified female staff and first aid and emergency services.
