The expansion is aimed at connecting non-resident Indians to service providers back home or where they stay.
Sulekha, India's oldest local services listing platform, is expanding to Australia, West Asia, Southeast Asia and Africa. The expansion is aimed at connecting non-resident Indians to service providers back home or where they stay.
Sulekha is already operating in the US and Canada. The company there helps connect people to mehendi artists and traditional Indian food vendors. It also provides help to non-resident Indians connect with services in India.
Satya Prabhakar, CEO of Sulekha, said, "We will begin taking the platform to new international markets next fiscal. We already operate in the US. The expansion in these markets takes very little investment because it is just an extension of our platform and they already know the brand."
