Hospitality and wellness chain Mystic Cures Ltd is going to foray into franchise business model for its spa and salon properties all over India. It is targeting at 24 franchised outlets in the northern region of India by end of next year. Presently there are four company owned outlets in DelhiNCR but there will be an increase in the owned outlets as well.
Mystic’s franchise criteria is very easy to accept as franchising has become a popular business model. The franchised outlet of Mystic Salon and Spa will range from 1,000 sq ft to 6,000 square feet with a minimum investment of Rs 20-25 lakhs on infrastructure and minimum investment of Rs 15 lakhs for equipments and interiors. Mystic will provide support in terms of products, manpower recruitment, maintaining mystic standards, technical training, advertising and marketing to all franchisees.
Siddharth Shankar, Director, Mystic Cures Ltd, said, “Wellness industry has a long way to go in India. We need to communicate the true meaning of spa and wellness. Going by the technical definition of spa, the market in India would be limited to a very small segment of population. But if we increase the scope of the meaning of this word and also loosen the standards that are expected from a true spa set-up the market is huge and the competition would be huge also.”
The USP of Mystic Cures is its product range that is coming from plants that are only found in forests and mountains. We grow some of the rarest of rare plants that are used in various applications in a country side farm. This also helps us to ensure the quality and the authenticity of the products.
