Middle East brands set to explore India

A host of brands across sectors from Middle East that participated in 9th Asia’s largest franchise and retail opportunity show Franchise India 2011, are planning to enter Indian market

A host of brands across sectors from Middle East that participated in 9th Asia’s largest franchise and retail opportunity show Franchise India 2011, are planning to enter Indian market via franchise route. Prominent among these are Café Japengo, Second Cup, British Orchid, Blue Ocean and Shawarma Xpress. Commenting on its expansion plans in India Saleh Al Khor, Vice-Chairman and Partner, Shawarma Xpress, said: “We are looking for master franchisees for three regions, including north-east, South and West India.”

BenHendi Enterprises a Dubai-based conglomerate is also seeking franchisees for Café Japengo, and Second Cup.
