Shishir Jaipuria-led Jaipuria Group is eying 30 schools across the country by 2022.
Brand’s Chairman Shishir Jaipuria says, "We aim to have about 25-30 K-12 schools by 2022. These will be through a mix of both our society-owned schools as well as some franchisee’s wherever we are able to find a committed partner. We have also started pre-schools by the name of Little One's and aim to have 15 of them by 2022.”
The Jaipuria group, which forayed into education in 1939, currently has schools in Kanpur, Ghaziabad, Unnao, Hamirpur and Farrukhabad districts. The brand recently opened its centre in Lucknow and is looking forward for an aggressive expansion in the country.
Jaipuria Group hopes to invest nearly Rs 500 crore to expand its presence in the education sector over the next five to seven years. The brand has a major thrust on opening schools via the franchise route, however, the investment made by the franchisee partners would be in addition to the investment done directly by the firm.
