Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anil Moolchandani, CMD, Archies Ltd. said, "With a long experience in the market we have recognized our potential and our exclusive agreement with the Paper Island is a step further to give our consumers exclusive products and also market the Fizzy Moon brand in India." Sharing about the achievement of the Fizzy Moon brand in UK, Ms. Joanna Hockett, Director, International Marketing, Paper Island said, "We are very pleased to have this tie-up with Archies and the opportunity to identify Indian customers. We definitely have trust in the Indian market and, we think, we have the true partner to promote our brands here. We share the same vision and our products will positively get acceptance with the genuine strategies from our partners." Being the pioneer in the franchising industry in India, Mr. Moolchandani proudly proclaimed that Archies has 350 franchisees and 106 own stores. He also said that he is going to open 150 stores in India and 28 stores in SAARC countries. Fizzy Moon products will be a part of the Archies outlet. Archies will open more retail stores with the Fizzy Moon products. Ms. Hockett, in an exclusive interview with our reporter Subhro Prakash Ghosh, stated they are looking to the Archies franchisees and retailers to display their products to the Indian market which would give them a brand here. While discussing with us, Mr. Moolchandani said, "This year we are taking the concept of large format store of Archies where `Stupid Cupid` will be a part of the store, not standalone. 80% ladies are the targeted customers of `Stupid Cupid`. We are planning to add 100 more cities in our network in India. We are producing cards and supplying them to the European countries."
