Archies Ltd, India’s leading greeting and gifting company has recently unveiled its new logo. Operational since 1979, Archies Ltd today has significant pan India presence through 230 plus exclusive outlets and 250 franchise outlets. The new look Archies will also reflect in the brand’s stores, which will have a brighter, fresher look and sport the new logo, with the liberal use of the new house colours, in décor and internal signages. The company’s move to have a new logo will cater to its core target clientele which has immensely expanded in past few years. As per company’s statement: “In today’s new world, in order to stay relevant in our customers minds, in order to show that we are not their parents Archies, or as our customer base grew older, not the Archies they grew up with, we felt the need to change our logo, look and feel.”
However, the company will retain ownership of its tag line ‘the most special way to say you care ’ and has decided to play around the colour that people recall the most and associate most strongly with the brand. By incorporating both the colour red and the heart into its logo, Archies expects to communicate better with its consumers, who today fall into various categories like the family focused group, the new traditionalist customer, the socialite customers, the young rebels and the trendsetters, encompassing the core target audience of early teens to mid 40s.
