Looking at the growing health awareness among people, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited (AHLL) is now eyeing to widen the footprint of its brand – Apollo Diagnostics within the country. The company’s plan is to open 1,000+ franchise collection centres in the next five years. At present, the company owns 30 centres. Of its total diagnostic centres, 20 are run by franchisees.
Speaking on its expansion via franchise mode and support it provides to the franchisees, Neeraj Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Health and Lifestyle Limited, says, “Apollo has developed detailed manuals outlining each and every aspect of the operations of the diagnostic centres. Apollo provides rigorous support during operations, including service quality reviews, clinic operations audit, and continuous training programmes. Additionally, Apollo will train the franchisee's sales personnel in sales and promotion of the clinic. They are actively involved in developing product and pricing strategy and also the pre-launch activities. In the diagnostics business, Apollo provides all consumables, IT system to ensure high quality of service to customers.”
