French Connection plans to open additional franchise stores in India, Russia and Turkey. Presently, the brand has 22 outlets in 10 cities of India. Stephen Marks, Chairman and Chief Executive of French Connection said, “With the business on a stronger footing, we are in a good position to expand operations internationally. We see great opportunities to grow revenues from both franchising and licensing.”
The global appeal of our brand is evident in brand’s continued growth overseas and in next three years the company is planning to open as many as 25 more stores in China under its joint venture as well as additional stores opening by its franchisees in Russia, India and Turkey.
Brand Marketing India (BMI) the exclusive licensee introduced French Connection in India in 2007. The brand was established in 1972 by Stephen Marks and now operates more than 1,500 outlets across 25 countries worldwide.
