Sbarro, the New York style pizza chain to enter North and East market

Sbarro has partnered with Jyoti International Foods Pvt Ltd (JIFPL) to expand its business in northern region.

Sbarro, which pecializes in New York-style pizzas, has launched its first outlet at Huda City Centre Metro Station, Gurgaon setting foot in North India partnering with JIFPL - Jyoti International Foods Pvt Ltd. JIFPL will be the master franchise of the American-Italian food chain for North India & East India.

Sbarro is known worldwide for high quality fresh handmade products, fast service and value for money. The restaurant offers a wide variety of New York style pizza cut into large slices. JIFPL is an end-to-end service provider to the leading food chains in India providing 360 degree solution encompassing Warehousing, Logistics & Distribution of the products to retail chain across India.

JIFPL started its services in 2003 as a Subway Franchisee and launched the distribution and logistics services in 2005. Their clientele includes names like Subway, Krispy Kreme amongst other.

The newly opened Sbarro outlet will enable customers to have access to an enviable variety of superior-quality handmade products with quick speed of service. The brand strongly advocates the ‘value for money’ and ‘freedom of choice’ proposition, as it allows its customers to choose their individual slices from large 18” pizzas at an affordable price, staying true to its tagline- ‘My life, My slice’.

The menu comprises 18" large New York style pizzas, live-sauté pasta, salads and desserts.  The restaurant has a live kitchen, spacious seating and great pricing adding to the great customer experience. The brand plans to expand its footprints in North and East India and open about 30 - 40 outlets within the next 5 years in Delhi NCR, Punjab, Rajasthan, Kolkata & Gujarat at key strategic locations.

Speaking on the occasion, Akhil Puri, CEO, JIFPL said, “We aim to build a connect with our customers by promoting the ‘My Life My Slice’ concept and by providing them with fresh and high-quality food at an affordable price.”
