Natural makes North India foray, opens outlet in Delhi

Natural ice cream owned by Srinivas Kamath has opened its first outlet in Delhi, entering Northern India, says a PTI report.
The company is planning to add another 100 outlets in next five years across the country.

The company is also launching another store in Connaught Place on 1st November.

"This store marks our first step towards becoming a pan-India brand. We are looking at expanding our footprint across the country and plan to open 100 stores in the next 5 years,” Kamath said.

His father RS Kamath, who started Natural's first outlet in 1984 on Valentine's Day, more as an outlet selling pav bhaji rather than an ice cream shop, has just one piece of advice for his son — quality and taste should not change.

The company began its operations as a 300 sq ft ice-cream parlour at Juhu, a Mumbai suburb currently has 118 outlets across west and south India including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa ever since Srinivas joined the company four years ago.
