Moods Hospitality to raise Rs 300 crore, to expand Dimsumbros and The Wine Company outlets

Moods Hospitality Pvt Ltd, which owns brands like Yo! China, The Wine company and Dimsum Bros, is planning to raise over Rs 300 crore ($45 million) to expand its casual dining chains Dimsum bros and The Wine Company.

The company which is backed by Matrix Partners who has invested around Rs 27 crore in 2007, is also planning to open a lounge restaurant Antares in Goa along with Masterchef Australia participant Sarah Todd.

“We are also planning to take our brands to global destinations like Australia and South Africa in next two- three years,” shared Ashish Kapur, Co-Founder and MD, Yo! China.

According to Kapur, the funds will be used to open 20 Dimsumbros outlets and 10 The Wine Company restaurants across the country.
