Inbisco to expand confectionery biz

Inbisco India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of the Indonesian food products major Inbisco is planning to invest Rs 800 crore at the Sanand plant in Gujarat which is planning to go commercial production in the next few months.

The company will focus in production of range of biscuits, noodles and other confectionery items and also expand pan India. The company has recently launched the JoyMee noodles manufactured at the Hyderabad unit.

Thomas Wiliam, Country Manager, Inbisco India, said, “Once the product is rolled out nationally, the company will bring in other food products.”
