Ibis hotel enters Delhi; plans 19 more outlets across India by 2016

InterGlobe Hotels has announced opening of Ibis brand hotel in Delhi as its plans 19 Ibis hotels operational by 2016. InterGlobe Hotels has partnered with Accor Group of Hotels to successfully run its Ibis brand hotels in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Ibis Delhi Airport is the largest inventory hotel of the group with 316 rooms, the company said in a statement.

"InterGlobe Hotels will address the gap in the availability of hotel rooms in the mid-market segment and continue to raise the bar of its product offerings through constant innovation," said J B Singh, President & CEO, InterGlobe Hotels.

"We believe in the potential of this segment and aim to have 19 ibis hotels operational with 3,600 rooms across India by 2016," he added.
