The 17th regional convention of the Hotel and Restaurant Association Western India (HRAWI) is going to be held at The Hyatt Regency, Pune, on August 23 and 24.
The theme of the convention will be 'Tourism: Awakening the Sleeping Giant' inviting association members of the Western region including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Silvassa, Daman and Diu.
Mr. Dilip Datwani, Chairman, 17th Regional Convention, HRAWI, said, “The regional convention will offer an excellent opportunity to network with members, professionals, consultants, vendors and many more. We are expecting approximately 250 delegates at the convention.” He further added that the two-day session will be a platform to share their rich experience through panel discussions that would interest both hotels and restaurants.
A book launch is scheduled to focus on the '20 Visionaries of Indian Hospitality'. The book will feature 20 leading hospitality professionals. This will be followed by the 'Hotel Operators Gold Awards 2013' – a joint initiative by Hospitality Biz, sister publication of TravelBiz Monitor – and HRAWI to reward experts in Hospitality under 15 categories.
