Mr. Vimal J Singh, MD - South Asia, Louvre Hotels said "We are looking at Allahabad, Varanasi and Agra as possible locations to open new hotels in the state. These hotels could either be Greenfield or Brownfield properties. We are already scouting for suitable land and properties in these cities to expand our network.”

Golden Tulip South Asia is part of the international Louvre Hotels Group, which runs hotels and resorts around the world. Currently, US-based private investment firm Starwood Capital owns all these brands. Starwood Capital Group comprises over 1,000 hotels having 83,000 rooms across 40 countries. Golden Tulip Hotels has recently upgraded its Lucknow property to four-star deluxe by adding another block at an investment of over Rs 35 crore.
